After going viral for his infectious track ‘Go Away,’ Troy Javelona has been steadily releasing singles sprinkled with his unique brand of ‘loverboy-indie’. His latest EP, ‘For You’ is the latest addition to his heavily-streamed discography and is set to make waves once again in the alt-R&B scene on its release on the 31st of May. 

Released on the 31st May, ‘For You’ is a showcase of Troy Javelona’s signature alternative R&B sound. Each of the six tracks are bursting with dynamic guitar riffs, catchy hooks and thickly stacked harmonies. From the vibrant opener ‘Call Me’ to the concluding slow jam ‘Letting Go’, Troy Javelona explores themes of navigating relationships, delving into the highs and lows being in love can bring. Working from his bedroom studio set-up, ‘For You’ was entirely self-produced. Speaking on the creation of ‘For You’, Troy shares, “Creating this EP from my bedroom has allowed me to authentically explore my experiences and emotions. The bedroom is my safe space where I can truly be myself.”
